Draw the Word

Translate a prompt into a visual clue while others guess. No drawing canvas is included.

Purpose

Translate a prompt into a visual clue while others guess. No drawing canvas is included.

Prepare your deck

Choose Easy Drawing or Challenge Drawing, or prepare your own suitable prompts. A noun alone does not guarantee a good drawing task.

Recommended timer: 60 seconds. Select entries, choose prepared or shuffled order, and review notes before starting. All settings are editable in the workspace.

Run the activity

  1. Choose Easy Drawing or Challenge Drawing, or prepare your own suitable prompts. A noun alone does not guarantee a good drawing task.
  2. Review selected entries and choose Draw the Word. Have paper and a pencil ready.
  3. Let the artist view the device while others look away. Reveal the prompt and start the timer deliberately unless automatic start is enabled.
  4. Use Finish & Next or Skip to move through the finite queue. The device has no separate secret presenter screen.

An example

For “umbrella,” sketch a curved canopy and handle. For “a city in the clouds,” combine buildings with a cloud outline.

Variations and printing

Try no timer for careful drawing. Print drawing worksheets for individual practice or cut-out cards for a host-controlled game. Printed prompts are visible ink.

Useful packs

Sessions save a fixed snapshot. Editing a source deck does not change a running activity. Resume returns covered and paused; starting a new activity requires ending or resuming the existing one.
